Hey All!
So today was Mandela Day! Lets hope it was an international success!
Anyways, we sadly didn’t have a bunch of time to organise anything major so we decided to clean the stretch of beach south of Melkbosstrand as far as possible in 67min. (We chose this area was it was the site we used for last years Roberts Trophy, so now we got a chance to give something back!)
The 5 of us (Jon, Devon, James, Joshua and Damon) totally filled 6 refuse bags with non-biodegradeables, as well as a collection of random larger items. Looking back on Google Earth, it appears that we managed to clear just over 1.5 kilometers. Not bad for about an hours work!
